Our Mission Statement  

Our mission at Kids' Place Day School is to instill an enriched sense of accomplishment and self-worth in each child as an individual, as we support their uniqueness and guide them positively in the growth process.

We believe that the cognitive, social, emotional and physical domains of children's development are closely related and that the development in one domain influences and is influenced by development in other domains.

As such, we build on children's strengths and talents, providing a learning environment which focuses on each child as a "whole" while we maximally support the cognitive, social, emotional and physical development of each child.

Our School's standards to working with young children is based on a commitment to fundamental values that are deeply rooted in the field of Early Childhood Education.

These values represent our School's basic commitment to young children, taking a strong position on what is recognized by the National Association of Young Children as Developmentally Appropriate Practice in Early Childhood Programs.

Specifically, at Kids' Place Day School, we:

• appreciate childhood as a unique and valuable stage of life and value the quality of children's lives in the present;
• base our work with young children on knowledge of child development and learning;
